C4U Circle

This is a support space for people living with chronic illness who want real conversation, easy connection, and the option to just exist around others who get it.

Each session has a different theme and includes a low pressure creative activity. Something reflective, expressive, or just fun. You do not need to be an artist or share anything out loud. Just show up as you are.

You can sign up for one session at a time, no ongoing commitment. Sessions are held on Google Meet and led by Ila Oxman (@chronic4u).

Disclaimer: Ila is not a licensed therapist. She holds a bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Psychology and a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. This group is not a substitute for professional mental health care.

Session 4: Relationships

Dates: Offered 08/24 3-4PM EST
Location: Google Meet
Price: $10 (use code C4U10 if needed)

In this session, we’ll explore how chronic illness can affect all types of relationships — with partners, friends, and family. We’ll talk about ways to cope with these changes and communicate more effectively, so our connections work for both the person living with the illness and the person without. We’ll also share ideas for explaining our experiences to loved ones in ways that help them better understand what life is like with a chronic condition.

This is a low-pressure, supportive space for reflection, creativity, and connection. You don’t need to be “over it” — just come as you are.

🖍️ What to bring:

• A pen or drawing material

• The optional printable worksheet (coming soon!)

No art skills needed. No pressure to share. Just a space to feel what you need to feel.

Why is there a fee?
C4U Circle sessions take time, creativity, and energy to design, promote, and lead, especially as someone living with chronic illness. The fee helps make these gatherings sustainable so I can continue offering meaningful, well thought out spaces for connection and support.

Refund  Policy
Refunds are not accepted if you miss a session, but you’re welcome to apply your fee to a future one — just let me know if you weren’t able to attend.
If I need to cancel a session, you’ll have the option to receive a full refund or use your payment as credit toward a future class.

Meet Ila Oxman

What began as a single social media account has since expanded into a multifaceted platform that includes The Chronically Positive Podcast; Chronic4u Apparel; and the C4U Circle support group.

Ila holds a B.S. degree in Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Drexel University. She combined her education with her lived experience to build a space that integrates advocacy, storytelling, and community-building.
