About Chronic4u

Meet Ila Oxman
After fifteen years of unexplained symptoms, Ila Oxman was finally diagnosed with POTS, hEDS, and MCAS in 2022. Ila’s challenging healthcare journey inspired her to begin sharing her story on social media as @chronic4u. What began as a single social media account has since expanded into a multifaceted platform that includes The Chronically Positive Podcast; Chronic4u Apparel; and the C4U Circle support group.
Ila holds a B.S. degree in Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Drexel University. She combined her education with her lived experience to build a space that integrates advocacy, storytelling, and community-building.
